Craig Ward of Lundie, the Baron of Lundie wrote the Law Society’s textbook on Lasting Powers of Attorney, the 4th edition (2019). He drafts lasting powers of attorney and advises on community care and mental incapacity law. He is a CEDR accredited mediator and conducts commercial and vulnerable adult mediations.
Craig manages our litigation department. This includes court of protection disputes and other dispute matters. He also drafts lasting powers of attorney, deputy applications, wills and trusts
Craig also manages our probate department which includes both contentious and noncontentious probates.
Craig speaks around the UK and internationally on mental capacity law, the Court of Protection, managing vulnerable adults.
Ron Hiller is a member of the Institute of Supervisory Management and the Institute of Credit Management. Ron has held several director and executive roles in international companies and brings a wide range of commercial experience to the Firm. He brings to the Firm over 12 years experience of working with vulnerable adults. Both in the public and private sectors as a professional deputy and attorney. He is also recognised a dementia champion.
Ron provides specialist guidance and assistance to local authorities and care providers in managing the affairs of vulnerable individuals.
Ron manages our elder client care department looking after individuals financial affairs who lack mental capacity. Ron also drafts lasting powers of attorney.
Ron has been appointed by the court of protection to be deputy on behalf of individuals lacking mental capacity. Ron is also a corporate appointee.
