Fees

As we do not have an office, we can pass this saving onto our clients. Many of our services are fixed fees. We can amend our fees depending upon your circumstances, please tell us.

All our fees are plus VAT.

Free 1 years aftercare service

Craybeck Law offers a free 1 year aftercare service to our clients.

This is particularly useful with our LPA and deputyship clients and attorneys to help them get used to operating an LPA or deputyship and making decisions.

Solicitor Fees

Essential Lasting Powers of Attorney (financial and health and welfare)
From £650. Essential financial and health and welfare LPAs - including advice on essential clauses, choosing an attorney, acting as certificate provider, review of current care situation and 1 years aftercare (plus registration fees £82 per LPA)
Essential Lasting Powers of Attorney (financial and health & welfare, both partners)
Essential Financial and health and welfare LPAs for both Partners / Couples - including advice on essential clauses, choosing an attorney, acting as certificate provider, review of current care situation and 1 years aftercare (plus registration fees £82 per LPA) - from £850
Complex Lasting Powers of Attorney (financial and health and welfare)
From £850. Complex financial and health and welfare LPAs - including advice on essential clauses, choosing an attorney, acting as certificate provider, review of current care situation and 1 years aftercare (plus registration fees £82 per LPA)
Business Lasting Power of Attorney
From £975. This includes advice on essential clauses, choosing an attorney, acting as certificate provider and 1 years aftercare (plus registration fees £82 per LPA)
Deputy (Financial)
£950. This includes 1 years aftercare, plus court fees if relevant. Additional fees may be charged were work is carried of a complex or specific nature outside that of a usual court application.
Deputy (Health and Welfare)
£950. This includes 1 years aftercare, plus court fees if relevant. Additional fees may be charged were work is carried of a complex or specific nature outside that of a usual court application.
Deputy (financial and health and welfare)
£1750. This includes 1 years aftercare, plus court fees if relevant. Additional fees may be charged were work is carried of a complex or specific nature outside that of a usual court application.
Wills (essential)
From £295 for a straightforward will leaving assets to another person. If your will needs additional work owing to its complex nature we draft at £300 an hour.
Will (with Will Trust)
From £350 for a will containing a trust leaving assets in trust for your spouse. If your will needs additional work owing to its complex nature we draft at £300 an hour.
Trusts
From £1950 a trust lets you place assets in the trust which is held by the trustees on behalf of the beneficiary. There are several types of trusts available depending upon the circumstances.
Statutory Will
From £1975 plus court fees if relevant. Additional fees may be charged where work is carried of a complex or specific nature outside that of a usual court application. Where there is additional work to be conducted our hourly fee is £300 an hour.
Statutory Will including a trust and other instructions
From £2500 plus court fees if relevant. Additional fees may be charged where work is carried of a complex or specific nature outside that of a usual court application. Where there is additional work to be conducted our hourly fee is £300 an hour.
Probate (no inheritance tax)
From £2000. Some people only leave a small amount of money. This can mean there is no inheritance tax to pay, nor is there a need to complete all the tax forms. This makes sorting out their affairs more straightforward. If as the probate progresses other costs present themselves will notify you of these. Where there is additional work to be conducted our hourly probate fee is £300 an hour.
Probate (with inheritance tax)
From £2500. If someone dies and their estate is taxable there is the inheritance tax forms to complete. Depending upon the size of their estate this may result in additional work needing to be carried out. Where there is additional work to be conducted our hourly probate fee is £300 an hour.

Mediation fees

Civil Mediations and Elder mediations are run over half days with costs starting from £875 for 3 hours or £1275 for 5 hours mediation. Additional hours are charged at £125 per hour or part of it. Mediation fees are split between parties. There is also meeting room hire costs, travel and accommodation costs.

Training courses Fees

Craig Ward, Baron of Lundie runs training course globally.

There is a minimum fee of £600 per 3 hour and £850 per 5 hour course. This is for up to 4 people attending the training. If more people wish to attend they are billed at £125 per person.

In addition to training costs there are travel and accommodation costs. Training is usually conducted at your office. If you would like training at a different venue, additional costs may apply. There is no charge for travel time. Overnight accommodation is using reasonably priced services.

Fees can be reduced for charities and not for profit organisations.
